1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage, scripts, software development kits and identifiers that store or read information on a device. They can keep an account signed in, preserve a cart, remember choices, measure use or enable content supplied by another provider.
SiteFueler categorizes these technologies according to their purpose. A technology can have more than one provider, and its exact lifetime may change when you clear browser data, sign out, reject consent or when a provider changes its configuration.
2. How consent works
Strictly necessary technologies operate because they are needed to deliver a feature you request, keep the service secure or complete a transaction. Where applicable law permits, these do not require optional-cookie consent, but they are still disclosed.
Analytics, advertising and non-essential embedded-content technologies remain disabled until you make the relevant choice where consent is required. The consent panel provides Accept all, Reject non-essential and Manage choices controls. Withdrawing consent applies prospectively and is as easy as giving it.
Change your choice at any time: use the persistent “Cookie settings” control in the website footer to reopen the consent panel. Clearing site data in your browser can also reset the stored choice.
3. Essential and functional SiteFueler cookies
| Name or pattern | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sf_guest_cart | SiteFueler | Preserves a signed guest cart, selected items and coupon so checkout can function without an account. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
sf_currency | SiteFueler | Remembers the visitor’s selected display or transaction currency. | 1 year | Preference / requested functionality |
sf_social_flow | SiteFueler | Temporarily protects a Google or GitHub social-login attempt against request forgery. | 10 minutes | Strictly necessary when social login is chosen |
sf_analytics_session | SiteFueler | Provides a pseudonymous session for local analytics only after a positive statistics-consent signal. | 30 days | Analytics / consent required where applicable |
sf_analytics_consent | SiteFueler / consent mechanism | Records whether the visitor accepted or rejected optional analytics. | Up to 12 months | Strictly necessary to preserve consent choice |
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* | WordPress / SiteFueler | Authenticates a signed-in user and protects account/admin sessions. | Session or selected “remember me” period | Strictly necessary |
wordpress_test_cookie | WordPress / SiteFueler | Checks whether the browser accepts cookies for sign-in. | Session | Strictly necessary |
wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-* | WordPress / SiteFueler | Stores logged-in interface preferences. | Up to 1 year | Preference |
comment_author_*, comment_author_email_*, comment_author_url_* | WordPress / SiteFueler | Remembers comment-form details only if that option is offered and selected. | Up to 1 year | Preference |
4. Analytics technologies
After applicable consent, SiteFueler uses Google Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources, page interaction, device category and website performance. Google explains how it processes information from participating sites and apps on its official partner technologies page.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes browsers using a pseudonymous identifier for statistics. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains and counts a session for the configured Analytics property. | Up to 2 years |
SiteFueler’s own analytics code does not create its pseudonymous analytics session until a positive statistics-consent signal exists. Without that signal it may keep limited aggregate event counts without an analytics identity, order, coupon, referrer, device or network hash.
We minimize collected data, do not intentionally send names, email addresses or other direct account identifiers to Google Analytics, and disable unnecessary advertising features unless they are separately disclosed and consented to.
5. Advertising and affiliate technologies
SiteFueler may display advertisements or include affiliate links. A normal affiliate link may contain a referral parameter so the destination can attribute a purchase. The destination may place its own cookies under its policy. SiteFueler will label affiliate relationships as described in the Affiliate Disclosure.
Behavioral advertising, retargeting pixels or cross-site tracking will not be activated before the required consent. If SiteFueler introduces such technology, this register and the consent categories will identify the provider, purpose, duration and available opt-out.
6. Embedded media and external services
YouTube videos and other external content can allow the provider to receive an IP address, browser/device information, page URL, cookies and interaction data. Where required, these embeds remain blocked or use a privacy-enhanced mode until the visitor consents or intentionally activates the content. Google, YouTube, WhatsApp, PayPal, PhonePe and social-login providers may set their own cookies when you choose to interact with them.
Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security technologies such as cf_clearance or __cf_bm when a challenge or bot-protection feature is enabled. These help distinguish legitimate traffic, maintain a security clearance or prevent abuse. Their presence and duration depend on the security event and Cloudflare configuration.
7. Browser-based tools and device storage
Inputs and files used in SiteFueler’s WordPress utilities are processed locally in the browser. The tools plugin does not intentionally place that input in cookies, local storage or session storage. Downloaded output is created only when you choose to export it. Ordinary site, consent, security and analytics behavior surrounding the tool page remains governed by this policy.
8. How to manage your choices
- Use the live website’s cookie-settings link to accept, reject or change non-essential categories.
- Use browser settings to view or delete cookies, block third-party cookies or clear site data.
- Sign out to end the current authenticated session; clearing authentication cookies may sign you out immediately.
- Use available provider controls or device privacy settings for advertising identifiers.
- Contact admin@sitefueler.com if the consent control does not operate as described.
Blocking every cookie can prevent account login, cart preservation, checkout, social login and other requested functions. Rejecting analytics or advertising should not prevent access to ordinary public content or a normal purchase.
9. Updates to this register
Providers can change their identifiers and lifetimes. We will review this register when SiteFueler introduces or materially changes a tool, embed, analytics property, advertising provider, payment method or consent platform. The effective date and version will show when the published register changed.
