Copyright and Takedown Policy

This procedure allows a rights holder to report content on SiteFueler that is reasonably believed to infringe copyright, trademark or another intellectual-property right and allows an affected contributor to respond.

Effective 1 Sep 2026 Save as PDF

Important: This is a general intellectual-property notice-and-takedown procedure. It is not represented as a formal United States DMCA agent process unless SiteFueler later completes the applicable designation requirements.

1. SiteFueler content

SiteFueler’s original branding, website copy, graphics, documentation, software, templates, components and compilations are protected by intellectual-property law. Purchased products may be used only under the Digital Product License. Third-party marks and open-source components remain owned and licensed by their respective rights holders.

2. Before submitting a report

Confirm that the material is hosted or controlled by SiteFueler and identify the right you own or are authorized to enforce. A link from SiteFueler to an external website does not mean we can remove the external material. Consider whether a license, quotation, fair dealing/fair use, open-source permission or another exception may authorize the use.

Knowingly false notices can harm users and may create legal liability. If uncertain, obtain qualified advice before filing.

3. Information required in a notice

Send a written notice to admin@sitefueler.com containing:

  1. your full legal name, organization if applicable, email and a reliable contact method;
  2. identification of the copyright, trademark or other right claimed, including registration information where relevant;
  3. the exact SiteFueler URL and a clear identification of the material at issue;
  4. an explanation of why the use is unauthorized;
  5. evidence that reasonably supports ownership or authority to act;
  6. a good-faith statement that the information is accurate and the complained-of use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or law;
  7. a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act; and
  8. your physical or legally valid electronic signature.

Do not send passwords, unnecessary identity documents, unrelated personal data or malicious attachments.

4. Review and interim action

SiteFueler will assess whether the notice is sufficiently complete and plausible. We may request clarification, preserve relevant records, temporarily restrict access, notify the contributor, remove or disable material, or decline a notice that lacks necessary information or concerns a use that appears authorized.

Urgent interim action does not determine ultimate ownership or liability. SiteFueler is not a court and cannot resolve every complex ownership dispute.

5. Response or counter-notice

A contributor who believes content was removed by mistake or misidentification may respond with:

  • name, contact details and the affected material/URL;
  • the basis for believing removal was mistaken or the use was authorized;
  • supporting license, authorship or permission evidence;
  • a good-faith accuracy statement; and
  • a signature.

We may share the response with the reporting party where necessary to resolve the notice. Each party should avoid including confidential information that need not be shared.

6. Restoration and repeat infringement

SiteFueler may restore material if the report is withdrawn, adequate authorization is shown, a binding decision supports restoration, or the circumstances otherwise justify it. We may keep material unavailable while a genuine dispute remains unresolved.

Accounts used for repeated or deliberate infringement can be restricted or terminated. We will consider the number, severity, reliability and outcome of reports rather than treating every allegation as proven.

7. SiteFueler product piracy

Report unauthorized redistribution of a SiteFueler Product with the external URL, Product name and available evidence. Do not attempt to access a suspicious system unlawfully. SiteFueler may contact the host, platform, payment provider or appropriate authority and may enforce the applicable license.

8. Trademark and impersonation concerns

A trademark report should identify the mark, relevant goods/services, registration or common-law basis, the exact use, likely confusion and authority to act. Ordinary comparative reference or accurate identification may be lawful. Report an account or page falsely presenting itself as SiteFueler through the same contact.

9. Privacy and retention

Notice, response, identity, evidence and action records are used to investigate, communicate, prevent repeat abuse and establish or defend rights. They may be disclosed to the affected party, providers, advisers or authorities as reasonably necessary and retained for the dispute and applicable legal period.
